Every April, some 12,000 trivia buffs come to Stevens Point to compete in the World's Largest Trivia Contest. Some 530 teams, who pay $30 each to register, attempt to answer eight questions every hour for 54 hours. All of the questions are asked over local radio station 90FM, and are given two song-lengths to come up with an answer. Teams are given ID numbers and telephone numbers to use during the contest.

Event organizer Oz, says, "If you think you know trivia, come to Stevens Point and play in a real trivia contest. After all the luster has worn off and you are staring at hours thirty through thirty-six knowing you have to make it through hour fifty-four, you learn that we take it very seriously." Trophies are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. This contest has been held since 1969.
