For more than 30 years, Miles City has hosted the world's most prestigious bucking horse sale as a part of their Miles City Roundup held every May. Every year top rodeo contractors file in by the hordes to get a glance at over 200 of the newest and wildest broncs on the market.

Professional riders attempt to hang on while the feistiest untried stock and spoiled saddle horses strut their stuff around the arena. Heated auctions immediately follow each run. Other attractions include gun exhibits, rare coin shows, parimutual horse racing, plus lots of BBQ and cowpoke jigging in the streets. It's the cowboy equivalent to Mardi Gras.
