First stop, the captivating fortress town of Sedan in the Champagne Ardennes region for their Medieval Festival where visitors are whisked back in time to when knights roamed the streets to a minstrel beat and swordplay and archery skills were the mark of a man.
Then it's on to the delightful region of Provence for the Gypsy Pilgrimage. The tiny city of Saint Marie de La Mer plays hosts to hundreds of the Romani as they take their patron Saint Sara through the narrow streets of this charming village and deliver her to the sea.
