Japanese Tub Race Video
In the true "we'll do anything, anytime, anywhere, wearing anything" spirit of the Japanese, tub racing takes to the Matsukawa River in Ito City each and every July.
With tub racing you get pretty much what it says on the tin, so I won't paint to detailed a picture. Men, women and children take to tubs (wooden jobs of the clothes washing variety) and attempt to be the first to cross the finishing line 400 metres downstream. Enjoy!
