If you like your Baltic folk music, large, loud and part of a crowd (and I do mean a crowd) then it don't get much bigger than Estonia's Laulupidu - the Estonia Song and Dance Celebration. The 2004 event included 34,000 performers who strutted their stuff in front of a crowd of 200,000 spectators. Told you it was big! Local Estonians and an increasing number of outsiders make the trip to Tallinn for this folk extravaganza which is held only once each 4 to 5 years. For more information pay a visit to the Laulupidu web site.
