Take a doco-type peek at the Cheung Chau Bun Festival held each spring on the Hong Kong island of the same name - Cheung Chau, not Bun Fesival!

Parades, performances and plenty of food punctuate the party.

Rumour has it that on the fourth - and last - day of festivities grown men scale 16 metre bamboo poles covered in sticky buns - an offering to the spirits - collecting as many as they can on their ascent. The thought alone makes me tired but leaves me strangely hungry!
