If you've got lungs the size of Luxembourg and fancy yourself on the ol' Nautilus down the local gym then Singapore's Vertical Marathon may just be for you.
At a piffling 226 metres, South East Asia's highest hotel, Swissotel The Stamford in downtown Singapore City plays host to the Vertical Marathon every November.
As the name implies a vertical marathon involves dragging your butt upstairs - in this case 73 storeys of 'em - as quick as humanly possible.
There are five categories in which participants can compete -men's open, women's open, men's veteran, women's masters and corporate charity.
The winners of the open divisions are then flown to New York to compete in the prestigious Empire State Run-Up. Deep joy!
