Maria Christensen

Maria Christensen is a freelance writer and poet. She worked as an accountant until a career change took her back to college to obtain a degree in history. She then went on to successfully publish articles on history, education, the environment, finance and parenting in various media, both print and online. Some of her credits include Blue Mountain Arts, The Savannah Morning News and The Dollar Stretcher. Maria has extensive experience as a web content provider, including contract work writing professional biographies and top level editing of two major web directories. She also works as a consultant in editor relations and content management for a directory/search engine and is webmaster of an educational portal. Maria resides in Seattle, Washington with her two young children and a turtle named Bud, who generally runs the household.
