L. Peat O'Neil is a writer and editor whose work appears in The Washington Post, National Geographic online, Gastronomica, Bloomsbury Review and other periodicals.
She teaches at UCLA-Extension in the Journalism certificate program.
She is the author of Travel Writing: See the World-Sell the Story, 2nd revised edition which was published by Writer's Digest Books in December, 2005.
She is currently living in Mexico City.
