Glenn Morrison - Travel Writer
Glenn Morrison
Glenn (morogoesglobal) has been described as "an enigma, wrapped in a delicate puff pastry, served with cold fries and salad". This however could not be further from the truth.
He began his literary career writing for a well-known pornographic magazine in Australia (yes the stories are all made up), but eventually he tired of the jetsetting lifestyle that came with the job. There's only so much you can do on a weekend business junket to Dubbo.
His greatest claim to fame is his pie-eating effort on his football club's 1999 end of season trip, in which he ate meat pies for breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper, brunch, linner, dupper...and sometimes in between meals.
In late 2000 morogoesglobal decided to do just that. He set off in a bid to go "around the world in eighty ways" which is a direct reference to his sexual prowess.
Oh and there was one other thing too; he brought The Princess along for the ride, which he has been thankful for ever since.
As his first submission to the www.2camels.com website is an account of his pilgrimage to Gallipoli, he found it difficult to be "funny ha ha" for the punters. Hopefully a few of you may however find it "funny weird", which is some consolation.
So as you kick back to read a first hand account of his travels in Turkey, take onboard his favourite words of wisdom:
Get your gear off, get back to nature and for all our sakes, DO IT IN THE NUDE.
