Kelly N Patterson is a former Reuters Health and Sciences Reporter (Sub-Saharan Africa Division), but please do not hold that against her…ask anyone from Reuters, she went AWOL. She has lived and worked in international development on 4 continents thus far. Ironically, she is best known for her travel narratives, ranting editorials and blogs. Now, she is a freelance writer and beach-yoga bum living the pura vida in Costa Rica.
