The Salmon Arm Folk Music Society proudly presents the Annual Roots and Blues Festival; with an eclectic variety of world-class music events staged throughout three fabulous days. With its six stages, craft and food vendors, artisan market, beer gardens, rock climbing walls, and children's activities on site, there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy. You can even camp nearby if you pre-register.

The festival normally takes place every third weekend in August at the Salmon Arm Fair Grounds. Located in the Shuswap, the heart of beautiful British Columbia, Salmon Arm is conveniently located on the Trans Canada Highway halfway between Calgary and Vancouver, and is nestled on the shores of one of the largest most pristine lake systems in British Columbia, Canada. Shuswap Lake has over 700 km. of shoreline with plenty of sandy beaches for recreation and relaxation. Outstanding natural beauty, clean waterways, provincial parks and an abundance of green space surround this world-famous recreation area.
