Cows may be kings in Texas, but hogs are...fat, dirty, weird creatures that taste good with eggs. And to celebrate their importance to the economy of itty-bitty Elgin, since 1987 the town has been hosting the Hogeye Festival every October. Come ham it up chasing a greased pig, test your hog calling technique and register for a chance to win $1,500 playing cow patty bingo.
