Join the French throng and bag a bargain at the annual La Grande Braderie de Lille, one of Europe's most grandiose flea markets.

In an event dating back to Medieval times, each September Lille locals line the pavement all over the city centre and offer up for sale all manner of trash and treasure to anyone wanting to part with their hard-earned.
