Let the ghoul times roll! Halloween isn't just for Halloween anymore. Recognizing that there are many people throughout the nation who are fans of goblins, spooks and vampires year-round, the Global Halloween Alliance decided they'd host a Halloween event every summer.

While still a young event, the Global Halloween Convergence went from attracting 50 people to Salem, MA in August 1999 to expecting about 150 for their New Orleans event in June of 2000. Come learn creative haunt ideas, sit in on a professional make-up demonstration, peruse Halloween collectibles and hear a lecture on the nature of fear. But the biggest attraction is the tours. Come walk with ghoulish guides as they give door-to-door accounts of the French Quarters' haunted history; explore the legendary St. Louis Cemetery #1, which is New Orleans' oldest City of the Dead; and saunter through the history of real and fictional vampire sights. General admission to the Convergence is $25 and tours are $15 each.
