The small town of Camden has a history that's burning to be told. Let's see, there was the fire of 1781, which leveled the town, the fire of 1812, the fire of 1829, the fire of 1879... You get the picture. So it only seems right that they be the hosts of the annual Fire Festival every September geared toward celebrating the work of their local fireman who have been busy over the years.
Come see an old-fashioned fire muster, upwards of 50 modern and antique fire engines, plus the proverbial bucket brigade competition. It's all free!
