If munching mollusks tempts your palate and you don't mind tipping back a pint of the black, then the Clarenbridge Oyster Festival may be just the gig for you. Down the road big brother Galway may have stolen a little of the Oyster Fest limelight of late but in Clarenbridge you'll get the original - the oyster festival where it all began.

Held over ten days in September, there'll be plenty of traditional Irish music and dancing, the Oyster Gala Celebration, barbeques and plenty of fun for the whole tribe.
