Love 'em or hate 'em they outnumber us humans by.....well, a lot! I'm talking bugs, and each year come September the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences bugs out for a day and turns its attention to all things that creep and crawl during Bugfest.
There's lectures, displays, you can even get a little hands on and cradle a cockroach or stroke a spider.
And then there's the menu: hushgrubbies, wormy watermelon, ants in jello and stir-fried grasshoppers. Mmmmmm, crunchy, bon apetit!
