Ornothologists wing their way into the Chilean city of Viņa del Mar each October for the annual Birds of Chile Festival (Festival Aves de Chile). Well, maybe they drive or get a bus, but stick with me on the flying theme.
For four days, bird-lovers can join like-minded souls on bird-watching excursions to local ecosystems and enjoy talks from and workships with professionals on all things ornithological.
