The Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival draws over 70,000 people to downtown Augusta for two-and-a-half fun-filled days each and every September.
This diverse festival features visual, performing, literary, and culinary arts, with many groups from a number of countries lending their ethnic flair. Highlights of the festival include a children's area with free hands-on art activities, a fine arts and crafts juried market with more than 100 artists from across the country, and a literary stage.
